Bible Verse Freeze Tag

I learned the game from a fellow Bible Drill leader and it is a great game for when you need to get the kids outside and let them run...

The usual rules to "freeze tag" apply. Select one child to be "It" and another child to be the "Angel". Each time a child is tagged, he or she must sit down or "freeze" and wait for the "Angel" to come "unfreeze" him. HOWEVER, he or she must be able to correctly quote the memory verse to the angel before he can be unfrozen. The the "frozen" child is having trouble, the Angel may give hints, use charades, or other simple aids to coach him through the verse.
