TIME'S UP! And the winners are...
Thanks for all the great contributions! They are posted on the "Ideas From Readers" page. We are excited to offer a children's ministry giveaway to our readers! We will be giving away 3 free copies of Dr. Ann Shorb's eBook Skits for Fun and Learning: Helping Children Learn, Love and Live the Word of God to 3 random readers who make a contribution to our children's ministry website by next Monday, June 8. You may go here to make your submission. It can be anything that would benefit the readers of our children's church ministry website: an object lesson, a game idea, a skit that you wrote, a discipline tip, or anything else that would be a help to our fellow children's ministry workers. We will randomly select 3 participants to win this children's ministry resource, and we will publish some of the ideas on our website (giving you the credit, of course!). So get busy sending in your ideas! This is a tremendous resource that I wholeheartedly endorse. I also encourage you to take a look at Dr. Shorb's other materials. She has some free skit downloads available at the link as well. The eBook includes 15 puppet scripts plus several articles that cover topics related to starting and managing a puppet ministry. All of the scripts are written so that they can be used with puppets or acted out by children. The book contains 46 pages. Be sure to get your submissions in no later than 9pm Central Time next Monday evening, June 8. Winners will be notified Tuesday morning.
