Homemaking
I realize that this is a website about children's church ministry, not homemaking; but I do have many readers who are stay-at-home-moms (or working moms!) like myself that are involved in children's ministry. Therefore, I wanted to share some of the resources that help me to enhance my marriage, train and educate my children, keep my house in order, and help me to balance family and ministry.
I wrote this inexpensive e-Book, which shares my tips as a mommy of 4 little ones ages 6 & under (plus one on the way!). You can go

If you are a frazzled homemaker who needs "Baby Steps" to get your home and life in order, then FlyLady is for you! The FlyLady system is completely free ~ she will send you daily e-mail reminders and pep talks, and her website is chock full of awesome homemaking ideas and resources. Before I became a "FlyBaby," my house and schedule were a haphazard mess at best. She taught me to build my routines and love myself. Click on the logo above and check it out!

I really love the Motivated Moms Planner. I have already purchased the 2009 planner; and if you do so now, the author will send you 2008 for free as well!Motivated Moms has daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic chores to do. It reminds me to clip my kids' nails and read to them daily. It keeps my showers from getting grimy, my closet from getting cluttered, and my hairbrushes from getting nasty. It reminds me to do things around the house that I would never even think of. It tells me what chapters to read in my Bible in order to be finished by the end of the year. I love it! If you have any doubts, you can get a free sample page for each of the available planner types. They are $8 each and well worth it, in my humble opinion! Click here to view more details
I am a Content Producer for Associated Content, and most of my articles are about either homemaking or children's church ministry (since that's, like, all I ever do!). However, in honor of the fact that my hubby has been in the deer woods since 5am today, I encourage you to check out my article about
Advice for Wives of Deer Hunting Fanatics.

Money Saving Mom
is one of the few (the only?) blogs that I check on a daily basis. Author Crystal Paine taught me how to *seriously* coupon and get almost all of our HBA, cleaning supplies, and diapers for free or nearly free at Walgreen's. She is a committed young wife and mommy who complements her husband perfectly.I have personally purchased and read every one of her e-Books, and I cannot recommend them more highly (especially for homemakers and stay-at-home-moms). You will not find a better value anywhere on the Web! I believe that she has a special going right now where you can purchase her entire e-Book collection ($100+ worth) for $8.97! You cannot beat that, folks!
