How bright is your light?

by Cynthia
(Pemberton, NJ)

Use three flashlights - One with a strong light, one that the battery is weak and so is the light and the third that doesn't have a battery - therefore it has no light.
The flashlight represents our lives. When we ask Jesus to come in, he wants to shine through us so that the world can see Him. We should tell others about Him. In Mark 16:15 he tells us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. In Matthew 5 we're told that we are the light of the world and shouldn't hide our light. So how's your light? Are you like this flashlight (the one without the battery)-you haven't asked Christ into your heart and life so you can't shine for him at all? Are you like this weakened light - you don't let God shine through you even though you have him in your heart? Or are you like this last light that shines brightly out to show the way if it were dark. Do you show others who Jesus is and the way to get to Him?
