Pastor Frank Mulford

Pastor Frank Mulford writes:Let me share with you a little about myself. I was born on April 13, 1953, in Salamanca, NY. I was raised in Florida, mainly Sarasota. I accepted Christ as my Savior on October 1, 1972, and was baptized shortly thereafter. I was working in the construction field when I was called by the Lord to serve Him full-time. In January 1973, I began attending Lynchburg Baptist College in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was there that I met my wife, Mary. We became engaged that spring and married on July 13, 1973. In January 1974, I enrolled in Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Our first child, Angela Mary, was born on April 4, 1974. Two years later our son, Jonathan David, was born on March 1, 1976. In May 1976, I graduated from Baptist Bible College and accepted the position of youth director at Bible Baptist Church in Ashtabula, Ohio. It was there that our third child was born. On August 16, 1977, the Lord blessed us with another daughter, Jan Michal. The Lord is gracious. In February 1978, we packed up our things and moved to Florida. I worked a secular job while I was waiting on the Lord to open doors. In September 1978, the Lord led us to Naples, Florida, where we served faithfully for nine years. During our last year at Seagate Baptist Church in Naples, the Lord dealt with my heart about pastoring a church. In answer to the Lord’s leading, we came to West Plains, Missouri, in June 1987, and candidated for the pastorate of Central Calvary Baptist Church. The Lord opened the door, and we assumed the pastorate on August 2, 1987. We claimed God’s promise in Revelation 3:8 as we were seeking His will for a church. We thank God for the wonderful church family that we have here. I hope that you will join us if you are ever in the West Plains area.
