Reward Cards

by Kellie
(Oklahoma)

Make a poster with pockets and then place a green, yellow, red, and black card inside each. Make enough pockets for every student plus extra for visitors and new students. If a child misbehaves then they must draw a card and place in pocket labeled "pulled cards". Towards the end of class each child will get a reward for the number of cards they have left (say a piece of candy for each card left). Also if a child pulls no cards for a certain period of time (say a month) then they may get a bigger prize from the "treasure chest". I have done this with my students and it works wonders!
