Components of a Successful Children's ChurchWhat does it take to have a successful children's church ministry? What does it take to BE successful in the ministry? Have more kids in your group than any other church in town? Have the funnest promotions and most modern media resources? Have the biggest budget with which to entertain children? What is God's view of success? "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Joshua 1:8 We are in this ministry, first of all, for the LORD (right?). So... what He thinks is most important! It is very important to Him that we saturate ourselves in His Word and thereby instill God's Word into a special group of children each and every week. Our vision for this website is two-fold: 1) to help those who minister to children (you!) build your ministries, have a heart for your kids, and have good success in the Lord's eyes, and... 2) to continue to learn and grow ourselves by researching and providing information to others and being accountable to all who glean from our advice. We definitely have much more to learn about the children's ministry and are enjoying doing so! We have not yet even utilitized all of the ideas we plan to share on this site; however, we have gleaned some great children's church ideas and experience over the years, which we would love to share! Please bear with us as we develop this site and compile all of our ideas, and feel free to drop us a few of your own successful children's church ideas! |
